75 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Education and Science when it is proposed to give approval for the necessary extension sought by parents, teachers and others at Tullykyne national school, County Galway. [16715/97]

My Department's planning and building unit is currently reviewing enrolment projections for Tullykyne national school in order to assess the scale of a proposed extension.

This review will be completed shortly and my Department will then be in touch with the school management. Allocation of funding for an extension will be considered in the context of future capital allocation.
