Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Deenihan — the provision of the necessary funding to enable stage four of the Listowel regional water scheme to go ahead; (2) Deputy Theresa Ahearn — the non-publication of the expert report on flooding in Clonmel and the failure of the Minister of State at the Department of Finance to meet the corporation on 7 October 1997 in relation to same; (3) Deputy Naughten — the urgent need to provide funding for the County Hospital in Roscommon; (4) Deputy Gerard Reynolds — the need to provide finance to Sligo Harbour Commissioners to enable them complete urgent dredging and ancillary works to secure the future of the port; (5) Deputy Ring — when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo, who is in the secondary stage of cancer, will be called for treatment to St. Luke's Hospital, Dublin, considering the severe pain being suffered.

The matters raised by Deputies Gerard Reynolds, Theresa Ahearn, Naughten and Deenihan have been selected for discussion.
