Inquiries have been made by my Department into the circumstances which gave rise to this pupil's withdrawal from school by her parent. The managerial authorities of the school have advised the Department that the incidents which preceded her withdrawal from the school have been fully investigated and appropriate action has been taken. Accordingly, the school is confident that the incidents will not recur.
The school has also informed my Department that a school placement has been retained for the pupil at the school and it is most anxious that the child resumes her education at the school as quickly as possible.
