92 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of prosecutions processed in 1996 for motorists in excess of speed limits in Dublin Central Dublin Metropolitan Area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17515/97]
I am informed by the Garda authorities that the number of prosecutions processed in 1996 for motorists in respect of speeding offences in the Dublin Central Dublin Metropolitan Area is not readily available. This information could only be obtained by the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of Garda time and resources.
