115 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education and Science the current position regarding the proposed extension to St. Mary's College, Galway; if this school extension will be included in the 1998 capital building programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18304/97]
My Department has received stage five documentation relating to the architectural planning of the proposed extension to St. Mary's College, Galway.
This documentation is under examination at present and officials in the planning and building unit are in regular contact with the school authority regarding the matter.
This project is one of a number of extension projects being considered for inclusion in the 1998 capital programme.
