Ceist:

25 Mr. O'Shea asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment further to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 102 and 114 of 30 September 1997, the reason she indicated that she had no programme manager contrary to the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 99 of 30 September 1997; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Miss Harney)

The programme manager works under the aegis of the Department of the Taoiseach and is responsible to me for the implementation of the Programme for Government.

Therefore, it is not accurate that the programme manager should be included in the reply dealing with staffing numbers in my own office.
