325 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when an extension to a sewerage scheme (details supplied) in County Roscommon will be approved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19057/97]

A preliminary report for Castlerea sewerage scheme is with my Department at present but, having regard to the existing high level of commitments under the water and sewerage investment programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve the scheme.
