Ceist:

417 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if the Women in Sport sub-committee of the Irish Sports Council has published a report. [18777/97]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 390, 401 and 417 together.

The Women in Sport Task Force which was established in June 1997 has since met on a number of occasions. Its aim is to establish the current extent of the participation of women in sport at all levels, and to identify and develop models of good practice in order to increase and enhance this participation.

As part of this process, consultation forums are being organised at local level and the first of these will take place in Cork later this month. The Task Force intends to produce its final report during the summer of 1998, and an interim report early in the New Year.
