288 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will have arrangements made for a review of a decision by his Department to refuse a grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry regarding the renewal and repair of a thatched roof on the grounds that the house did not previously have a thatched roof; and if he will make a statement on the matter. : There is no record of the receipt of an application for a thatching grant from the person named at the address given. There is, however, an application from a person with a slightly different name of the same address; in that case, a further inspection is now being arranged to establish if the house is eligible under the scheme.
