359 Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) asked the Minister for Education and Science when phase two of Castleknock community college, Dublin 15 will be built; the amount of moneys the Government will make available for this project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20079/97]
Stage two of architectural planning (outline sketch scheme) for the second phase of Castleknock community college is currently being prepared by the County Dublin Vocational Education Committee's design team. When this has been received in my Department, the project will be progressed further without delay. It is not possible at this stage of planning to indicate when the project is likely to be ready for construction. As the Deputy will appreciate, it would not be appropriate to reveal details of the estimated cost of the project in advance of tendering.
