140 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received a deputation from the board of management Inis Cealtra national school, Mountshannon, County Clare; if he will give details of the individuals who were at the meeting; and if he will make a statement on the matters, if any, agreed at that time. On Wednesday, 19 November 1997 I met a deputation concerning proposals for addressing the capital needs of the school. Two representatives from the school were present and were accompanied by the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands, Miss de Valera and Deputies Daly and Killeen. I was accompanied by my special adviser. Arising from our discussions we arranged for further contact in order to advance this project without undue delay.
