152 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department will reexamine the case for upgrading of a person (details supplied) who was given the wrong level paper by the examiner, the error for which Deputy N. Ahern understands has been accepted by his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20758/97]

There is no issue of examiner error in this case. However I can confirm to the Deputy that my Department is in ongoing contact with the school in relation to this student who was entered by the school for the incorrect level at the examination in question.
