Ceist:

95 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be entitled to a pension when they retire from employment in the health service; and, if so, the amount this person will be entitled to. [20659/97]

As a non-pensionable employee of the hospital the person will, at retirement have the option of accepting an ex-gratia lump sum or a pension.

The amounts involved are being calculated and I will be in touch directly with the Deputy when I have the required information.
