Written Answers. - Abbey Theatre.
I recently received a copy of the position paper prepared by the National Theatre Society Limited, entitled A Theatre for the Millennium. I have received no formal proposal relating to the proposed development outlined in that document. While I will, of course, be happy to examine any formal proposals submitted to me I personally favour retaining the existing building at its present historic site on Lower Abbey Street.
