200 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food further to Parliamentary Question No. 148 of 4 November 1997 if he will give details of the number of foreign visits made by him in 1993 and 1994 in view of the fact that the promised information has not been received to date; if he will give details of the areas visited; the purpose of each visit; and the names of the persons who accompanied him on each visit. My answer to Parliamentary Question No. 148 of 4 November 1997 inadvertently indicated that 67 rather than 47 trips were made by me.

The number of foreign trips made by my predecessor during 1995 and 1996 amounted to 53.

All trips were within the EU except where otherwise stated.
