The position is that the refurbishment of the Garda station has recently been completed. The placing of a contract for works to the married quarters was delayed due to a need to have the works recosted. I understand that tenders have recently been invited for refurbishment works to the married quarters and that it is expected that the work will take approximately six weeks to complete.
