374 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education and Science the current position regarding the application by Coláiste na Coiribe, County Galway in relation to the question of recognition by his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22130/97]

The planning section of my Department has recently completed a review of the application for permanent recognition for Coláiste na Coiribe, Galway. A report is being prepared in the matter and a decision will be conveyed to City of Galway Vocational Education Committee at an early date.
