107 Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) asked the Minister for Education and Science when the high level planning group which was established in May 1997 under the aegis of the Higher Education Authority to prepare and advise on a strategic plan for the new Blanchardstown Regional Technical College will make its report. The terms of reference of the strategic planning group require it to report not later than six months from the date of the first meeting, which took place on 26 June 1997. The Higher Education Authority has confirmed that the planning group is on target to present the completed report to my Department within this timeframe.
