270 Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he has made a decision regarding the £8.5 million requested by Fingal County Council for an upgrading of the county council estates in the greater Blanchardstown area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Proposals from Fingal County Council to upgrade housing estates in the greater Blanchardstown area are under examination in my Department. However, additional information has been sought from the council in relation to an aspect of their proposal. On receipt of this information, a reply will issue to the council on the matter as soon as possible.
