308 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the district judges, outside of the Dublin metropolitan district, who were appointed initially under the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996; the date of their nomination; and whether these nominations were in writing. The President of the District Court has informed me that he initially nominated all of the 22 District Court judges permanently assigned to provincial districts on 12 September 1996. A list of these judges is set out as follows.
