354 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science if approval for work to begin for the replacement of windows at a school (details supplied) in Dublin 11 will be given in 1998; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22877/97]
An application for grant assistance towards the replacement of windows at the school in question has been received in the Planning and Building Unit of my Department.
A number of queries have arisen in relation to this project and these have been conveyed to the school authorities.
When the queries have been satisfactorily addressed the question of grant assistance will be considered in terms of available finance and competing priorities at that time.
