79 Mr. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the number and identity of all contracts in excess of £300,000 awarded by her office or other bodies under the aegis of her Department from the period 30 June 1997 to date; whether these contracts were awarded by public tender or otherwise; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department has not awarded any contracts in excess of £300,000 in the period since 30 June 1997. Contracts awarded by the bodies under the aegis of my Department are a day to day matter for those bodies.
