95 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will receive his BSE compensation for his 14 animals; and if it will be expedited in view of the severe financial hardship he is under. [23469/97]

The person named applied under the 1997 agrimonetary compensation scheme on 6 November 1997. His application is currently being processed and if found to be in order, payment can be expected shortly.
