asked the
Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources
the full membership of each of the operational programme monitoring committees; and if he will provide a schedule of all the meetings of such committees that have occurred so far and that are planned under the present arrangement for EU Structural Fund expenditure in Ireland.

The full membership of the monitoring committee of the Fisheries Operational Programme is set out on the following list. The schedule of meetings of the Fisheries Operational Programme monitoring committee held since the beginning of the operational programme is as follows: 21 February 1995, 28 June 1995, 10 November 1995, 26 April 1996, 21 October 1996, 27 February 1997, 24 April 1997 and 22 October 1997.
Operational programme monitoring committee meetings will take place twice yearly in 1998 and 1999. At least one committee meeting will take place in the year 2000. The full membership of the committee is as follows:
