Written Answers. - Raphael Programme.

Enda Kenny

Ceist:

168 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands the name, location and extent of assistance of the projects on cultural heritage which have been chosen for EU support in Ireland under the Raphael programme; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2269/98]

The Raphael programme is a European Community action programme in the field of cultural heritage and is operational between 1 July, 1997 and 31 December, 2000. The financial allocation for the programme over that period is ECU 30 million.

Of the 90 projects which were grant-aided under the 1997 scheme, ten involved an Irish participation and details of these projects are given in the following appendix.
