281 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the position on the building and refurbishment work undertaken to three Garda stations (details supplied). [3333/98]
Written Answers. - Garda Stations.
The information sought by the Deputy is as follows:
Terenure: A contract was placed in September 1997 for the building of a two storey extension to this station. Work is progressing on site and it is expected that the project will be completed in July 1998.
Kilmainham: A partial refurbishment of the station was completed last year at a cost of £55,000. Further work is planned depending on the availability of finance.
Store Street: The first phase of this project was completed in December 1997. Phase II of the project is under way. It is expected that all works will be completed by the end of October 1998.
