80 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will provide details of work so far undertaken by the working group on the illegal and harmful use of the internet; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3189/98]
The working group to which the Deputy refers, has been examining the complex legal, technical and structural issues relating to the illegal and harmful use of the Internet.
These deliberations have included the evaluation of relevant research, the examination of extensive submissions from interested parties and a study of relevant international experience.
I expect to have the group's first report within the next few weeks.
