214 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the current estimated housing stock in terms of dwelling units; the estimated increase in the number of dwelling units, in nett terms, that will be constructed by the year 2010; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The housing stock is currently estimated at 1.18 million occupied dwelling units and on present indications this number is likely to increase to something of the order of 1.5 million by the year 2010.
