294 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the position on the application for lottery funding for an association (details supplied) in view of the submission lodged; when the funds will be allocated; the amount of funds that will be granted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An application from this group was received in my Department in February 1998 and will be considered when grant allocations are being made for the coming year in accordance with the criteria for awarding such grants as set out in the terms and conditions of the sports capital programme.
295 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the organisations, including their addresses, which received grants under the sports capital grants scheme since July 1997 to date; and the amount in each case. [6557/98]
No grants have been allocated by my Department under the sports capital programme since 1997 to date. However, all applications received by 11 February 1998 are currently being examined by my Department in the context of the 1998 round of grant allocations which I expect to announce shortly.
