326 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will sanction the building of new classrooms at Holy Faith-De La Salle College, Skerries, County Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6497/98]
An application in respect of an extension at the Holy Faith-De La Salle Secondary School, Skerries, County Dublin, has been received and processed in my Department.
A schedule of accommodation to be provided in the proposed extension has been forwarded to the school authorities and officials in the planning and building unit of my Department are currently awaiting the written agreement of the school authority to this schedule of accommodation.
When this agreement is received arrangements will be put in place for the appointment of a design team.
It is intended that, following the appointment of a design team, this important project will proceed without delay through the various stages of architectural planning.
