324 Mr. M. Moynihan asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will release his interest in Laharn school, Lombardstown, Mallow, County Cork in view of recent correspondence to his Department regarding the proposal by the local residents' association to develop it as a community centre. [6495/98]
The procedure for releasing the Minister for Education and Science's interest in a school property is that the owners and trustees seek such permission from my Department. At this point, my Department has not received such a request from Laharn national school, Lombardstown, Mallow, County Cork. If this is received, it will be considered in the usual manner and a decision conveyed to the relevant parties.
