61 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the arrangements, if any, in place in her Department and in any State agency or body under her control to encourage or enforce the reuse or recycling of paper and, in particular, of envelopes; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The staff of my Department are actively encouraged to re-use old stocks of paper and envelopes on an ongoing basis. To this end, stocks of paper and reusable envelopes are distributed on a regular basis for internal use within the Department.

I do not have any function in this matter in so far as it relates to the State bodies under the aegis of my Department.
