440 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will give departmental recognition and provide appropriate funds for the Tanagh outdoor education centre at Rockcorry, County Monaghan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7357/98]
No additions to outdoor education centres have been recognised by my Department pending a complete review of outdoor education centres generally.
A group to review this matter was formed some time ago and its review is nearing completion at present. On receipt and consideration of the group's report the question of granting recognition to the centre at Tanagh will be examined.
