150 Mr. Stagg asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if her Department has a free telephone number, 1890, for the convenience of the public; and, if so, the action, if any, taken to bring this service to public notice. [8719/98]
My Department has recently initiated a total of eight Lo-Call 1890 telephone numbers, one for each of the main units of the Department. An advertisement is being placed in the national newspapers shortly, giving details of the numbers for the Government Departments participating in this phase of the initiative, including those for my Department. In addition, as new departmental stationery is introduced, the new numbers will be listed on such material. They will also be included in the telephone directory.
