51 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when ten month and 22 month special premia payments for 1997 will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10933/98]
The person named submitted applications for a ten month and 22 month special beef premium in July 1997.
His 22 month application was in respect of one animal which was ineligible as it was a bull. His ten month application was in respect of 11 animals. However, no payment is due in this case as a 100 per cent late penalty on area aid applies. The area aid application is recorded as being received on 13 June 1997.
