57 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have arrangements made for the Eastern Health Board to review the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 as a matter of urgency with a view to ensuring he is safe in his home, is not a danger to himself and receives every support necessary. As the Deputy is aware, the provision of health services in the Dublin area is a matter in the first instance for the Eastern Health Board.

In light of this, I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this case and respond directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
