56 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the recent surveys, if any, carried out to assess levels of stress experienced by members of the Garda Síochána; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11362/98]
I am not aware of any completed surveys on stress in the Garda Síochána.
The internal management of the force, including human resources, is a matter for the Garda Commissioner. I am informed by the Garda authorities that the Garda research unit has not carried out any surveys to assess the levels of stress experienced by members of the Garda Síochána.
