Written Answers. - Physical Education Facilities.
An application for the provision of PE facilities at St. Joseph's secondary school in Rush, County Dublin, has recently been received in the planning and building unit of my Department.
The question of providing physical education facilities at this school can only be considered in the context of the capital available for post primary building purposes generally. Because of the huge demand for additional classroom accommodation in schools throughout the country, I am not in a position at this stage to state when physical education facilities will be provided in this particular case.
However, the Deputy can be assured that this application will continue to be reviewed in the light of available resources and competing priorities.
