Ceist:84 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will give approval for advertising tenders for the Knock sewerage scheme in County Mayo. [12425/98]
Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.
This scheme is included in my Department's 1998 water and sewerage services investment programme to be advanced through planning. I recently approved the preliminary report for phase 1 of the scheme, and it is now a matter for the local authority to have the necessary contract documents prepared. The question of giving approval for advertising for tenders will be considered in due course.
