154 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will sanction the appointment of a secretary to a school (details supplied) in Kilkenny in view of the fact that the secretary is due to retire in August 1998. [13754/98]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that this school will qualify for the appointment of a replacement secretary in August 1998.
