62 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the number of people prosecuted under the Litter Pollution Act, 1997, in the Dublin area; the most common prosecution and the actual offence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13888/98]
Figures for the number of prosecutions under the Litter Pollution Act, 1997, in the Dublin area based on annual statistical returns submitted by the relevant local authorities are available in the Oireachtas Library. Details of the types of offences to which the prosecutions relate are not available to my Department.
