Ceist:173 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the status of an application for a farm retirement pension by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and when this pension will be granted. [14446/98]
Written Answers. - Farm Retirement Scheme.
The application in this case has been approved. Subject to establishing the pension status of the applicant with the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs payment of the early retirement pension will be made. In this instance payment of the early retirement pension will be retrospective to 27 February 1998, the date of valid application.
