Written Answers. - Sheepmeat Sector.
Proposals for the introduction of a system of tagging of sheep are being considered by my Department. A decision has yet to be made on whether tagging on an individual or a flock basis should be introduced. Discussions with the various farming and other organisations are ongoing and l hope to see the final outcome of these consultations in operation very early next year.
