122 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the steps, if any, to be taken to promote and publicise his Depart ment's recently published five point plan to deal with the ongoing incidence of water pollution; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15085/98]

I would refer the Deputy to my reply on this issue of 27 May 1998 in relation to the water quality action plan announced by me last August. The implementation of my plan is being pursued by the Central Fisheries Board as a matter of top priority.
