367 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science the discussions, if any, which have taken place with the military authorities with a view to co-operation in order to get maximum benefit from the facilities at the School of Apprenticeship, Devoy Barracks, Naas, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The education and training of apprentices is in the main provided for in the institutes of technology. Plans for an increase in this provision are under discussion with the sector. The plans do not envisage at this juncture the use of the facilities at the School of Apprenticeship, Devoy Barracks, but the matter will be kept under review.
