88 Mrs. Owen asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the monthly figures for people on community employment schemes for each month to date in 1998; and the projected monthly average figures for the remainder of 1998. [15717/98]

The allocation of monthly resources for the community employment programme is a day to day operational matter for FÁS as part of its responsibilities under the Labour Services Act, 1987, and not a matter in which I have a function.
