Written Answers. - State Visits.
President McAleese will make a State visit to Australia and an official visit to New Zealand from 31 August to 11 September 1998. The President will also make a State visit to Canada from 4 to 14 October 1998.
While a number of invitations to other heads of state is outstanding, no inward state visit is planned for the coming 12 months.
