135 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the number of claims for personal injuries made against her Department between 1990 and 1997; the number of these claims in respect of which compensation was paid; and the total amount paid for each of these years. [18184/98]
Six claims were filed against my Department over the years 1990 to 1997 inclusive. However, medical expenses only, were paid in respect of each claim, under normal Department of Finance guidelines. The total amount paid was £255.69 which is broken down as follows:
