Ceist:258 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children the position in relation to the proposed extension at Naas General Hospital, County Kildare; and the proposed starting date for the project. [19482/98]
Written Answers. - Hospital Building Projects.
The phase 2 development of Naas General Hospital is currently at stage 3 of the planning process. The date of commencement of constuction will depend on several variable factors including the progress which can be achieved in relation to completing the planning and tendering process. While it is not, therefore, possible to give a precise starting date for the project, I can assure the Deputy that I will be proceeding with the development at Naas Hospital without delay.
