45 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he has received an application for funding (details supplied) from Meath County Council; the estimated cost of this work; if approval will be given for this in 1998; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An application for funding under the remedial works scheme (RWS) in respect of this estate has not been received in my Department. Aside from the RWS, the upgrading of their rented dwellings is the responsibility of local authorities to be met from their own resources.
